Biodegradable paper Confetti - how much do I need?

The most commonly asked question we hear all the time from our Brides & Grooms is how much Confetti do I need?  If you are using the litre rule for every 10 guests you have you will need 1 Litre of Wedding Confetti, for larger petals this number changes to 8 guests per litre of petals.

Confetti is usually measured in Litres rather than grams as petal sizes and weights can vary.

Here at Wedfetti we do occasionally use the litre of confetti method, but also to make things easier and more accurate, we use the Wedfetti palmfull & Wedfetti handfull. 

Let me explain, a palmfull of Biodegradable confetti petals is enough to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand, giving the most standard and popular confetti portion size, where as a handful is enough biodegradable Confetti petals to create a mountain in your hand, the handful of petals is most suitable of you are allowing your guests to help themselves to wedding confetti from a basket etc.. 

Biodegradable tissue paper Confetti works in a similar way but also often uses the gram of confetti method, Biodegradable tissue paper weights can vary slightly if purchasing from different sources.

Here at Wedfetti we have mastered our biodegradable paper confetti portioning, for a Wedfetti palmfull which is the most popular portion size of Biodegradable paper wedding confetti, we use 30 grams of Biodegradable paper confetti circles at 1.5cm for every 10 guests (so 10 palmfulls)

For example if your wedding has 100 guests, 100 Wedfetti palmfulls would be around 200g of Biodegradable paper confetti 

I know.. this doesn't seem like a lot, but for Biodegradable paper confetti it is enough, a little paper confetti goes a very long way,  but of course, if you'd prefer a Wedfetti handfull portion size this can completely fill your wedding photos with confetti, both Biodegradable paper confetti portion sizes gives the same effect and does the same thing, but with the handful, it's just... Biodegradable Paper Confetti circles can often press together, so the aim is to fluff them up and separate the circles,  if this is not done the paper confetti may weigh heavier and you could be missing out on that all important slow falling Biodegradable paper confetti effect for that perfect confetti shot, we make sure to fluff your confetti up before it reaches you, and if purchasing Biodegradable confetti packets, we will make sure this is done before we fill your packets.

If deciding to fill your own Biodegradable Confetti packets, or using other methods of distribution, we recommend popping your paper confetti into a sealed Tupperware or jar and giving it a good shake! Especially if your purchasing your Biodegradable paper confetti in advance, a good shake right before use will bring your Biodegradable paper confetti to life!
